Depending on conditions, you might hook into Amberjack, Bonito, Mangrove Snapper, Lane Snapper, Red Snapper, Yellowtail Snapper, Red Grouper, Gag Grouper, Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Scup (Porgy), Pompano, and plenty more.
You'll target your catch by light and medium tackle fishing, trolling, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Families making of a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Also remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
Capt. Marvis runs a 23' Center console with capacity for 6 passengers. It has and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without.
Rods, reels, and tackle are included. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Have in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
It's recommended to bring sunscreen (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. Water will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Our brand new 2023 Bulls Bay Is 23 feet of open space. Family friendly with an extra wide beam to give every passenger space to work, or just relax! Running a 200 Suzuki four stroke, it's very fast and gets you to the fish quickly and provides a very smooth ride. Used for bay cruising, wildlife viewing, inshore, nearshore, offshore, dolphin tours, sunset tours and island adventures.
Captain Marvis
Caribbean born and raised always close to the sea, from Trinidad and Puerto Rico awakening to the sites of cruise ships, fishing vessels, and to crystal-clear beaches, waves crashing onshore and a brisk salty breeze out my bedroom window.
I spent most of my childhood fishing and surfing in the island of Puerto Rico. I love the places my passion for the ocean has taken me and the people I’ve met along the way.
I moved to Orlando FL about 15 years ago and got married to my beautiful wife. Two wonderful kids later, the ocean called me, and we find ourselves living in Venice, FL and haven’t looked back. The saltwater fishery here is truly a gift, there is always something amazing to target in every season!
I’ve picked up a variety of tactics and methods throughout the years and worked hard at perfecting my craft.
As a Coast Guard Certified Captain, my passion for the ocean and safe boating is strong. It brings me great joy to share, my knowledge of fishing with my kids and all who join me on a fishing adventure.
Whether we are fishing nearshore for snooks, mangroves and redfish or shooting offshore up to 9 nautical miles in search of red snapper, groupers and others, every trip is a chance for an adventure.
The main objectives of any of my outings, is the safety of all my passengers and crew and the pursuit of a memorable day.
